Boehner’s Statement on DOMA Rife with Hypocrisy

Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner’s office released the following statement in response:
While Americans want Washington to focus on creating jobs and cutting spending, the President will have to explain why he thinks now is the appropriate time to stir up a controversial issue that sharply divides the nation.
Now that is RICH. Please explain to me how defunding Planned Parenthood over the issue of ABORTION, a “controversial issue that sharply divides the nation” if there ever were one, will create jobs! This level of cognitive dissonance in the GOP is why I stopped calling myself a Republican seven years ago.
